Likho jaise bolte ho.
Most assistants treat Hinglish as English with mistakes in it. They translate what you wrote, answer in correct English, and hand back something that reads like a form letter. This one answers in the language you used.
Why most of them get it wrong
Hinglish is not broken English. It is a language with its own rhythm, where the Hindi carries the feeling and the English carries the nouns — and which half a word lands in is a choice, not an accident. A model told to "be helpful" normalises all of that away, because correct English looks more helpful than the thing you actually said.
What happens here instead
The language you wrote in is held as a hard instruction, above the model's pull towards English, and it applies to tone as well as vocabulary. A reply in Hinglish is written as someone speaking Hinglish would write it — not an English answer with Hindi words dropped into it.
Three, and you can switch
Hindi in Devanagari, Hinglish in Latin script, or English. Set it once in settings, or simply write in the one you want — the reply follows what you used. The Poets room also reads Urdu written in Latin script, which is how most people type a sher anyway.
It is not a translation layer
Nothing is generated in English and converted afterwards. The character thinks in the language it is answering in, which is why the jokes survive, the bluntness survives, and a couplet still scans.
What it looks like
A line to the Psychologist, and what comes back:
You — Sab theek hai, bas neend nahi aa rahi.
The Psychologist — Samajh raha hoon. Neend aksar sabse pehle jaati hai, jab baaki sab theek lag raha ho.
Raat ko dimaag mein kuch chalta rehta hai, ya bas aankh nahi lagti? Ek word mein bhi bata sakte ho.
No translation, no "I understand that you are experiencing difficulty sleeping". It answers the way the question was asked.
